This is Governor Martin O'Malley and I want to thank you for visiting our website. Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown and I pledge to make our government work again. And since taking office, we’ve been working hard to restore accountability and access to public information. It’s your government.
We are evaluating performance and tracking results as never before seen in State government. Essential services are surveyed and fine-tuned on a regular basis throughout our new StateStat performance measurement program.
For the very first time information technology is now a cabinet level position, with broad scope and big plans. Agencies are finally working together, in many instances for the first time. And we’re doing more with less and working smarter to serve the citizens of Maryland.
